Fishing Australia Films with Wild Adventures JM

In conjunction with this year’s Boyne Tannum HookUp, Fishing Australia TV (hosted by Rob Paxevanos) filmed fishing and scenic related content with ‘Wild Adventures’. Some of the region’s fishing and environmental assets will be featured in a half hour programme to be aired late June or early July. (We’ll update this blog when the date is shared)

Yellow Patch, North Curtis Island

Family fishing was the central point- with a mix of species caught including barramundi, blue salmon, tuna, Spanish mackerel. Yellow Patch on North Curtis Island was visited, looking absolutely stunning on a beautiful Autumn day.

Rob’s daughter catches a 15 kilo Spanish mackerel and Rob lands an 18kg fish not long after.

Hayley’s Spanish mackerel, pretty cool for a nine year old to have a go…..

Darren Brown from Curtis Coast Marine provided support with one of his personal vessels fitted with a whopping 350 HP Suzuki Outboard.

Keep your eye out for the programme…….
